Here at South Paddocks we are proud members of the BBGS (British Boer Goat Society). All our stock both male and female are 100% Pedigree Boer, all Breeding stock is registered with the BBGS to ensure they meet breed standards and their pedigree is fully traceable.

The Boer goat originated from South Africa and is the best meat goat in the world! The Boer has good overall conformation being heavier than other goat breeds, is well muscled having a high dressing percentage, has a high fertility rate and mature faster for slaughter than other breeds.

Here at South Paddocks we breed females for breeding and males for our South Paddocks Pedigree Goat Meat that is bred reared and finished on farm. Any males that meet the breeding standards are registered with the BBGS and sold as breeding bucks. We also offer pet purchases for people who just love the breed.
